the top 9 dirtiest cities

The are many cities in the world that are highly polluted from all the natural and man-made destruction. But I have found the top nine most polluted cities in the world:
9) Lake Karachay, Russia
This Russian nuclear weapon production site has been considered the most nulcear polluted place on planet earth. This radiation level is equivalent to a lethal dose after merely an hour of being outside. It is also equal to dumping all of the waste tanks at Washington's Hanford Reservation into a 30-acre lake. This pollution has pretty much destroyed the land's fresh-water supply.

8)  La Oroya, Peru
Metal mining companies all over the city have affected the air. Over 35,000 of La Oroya residents have been affected by lead, zinc, copper and sulfur dioxide pollution from the company's metal mining and processing. According to Time Magazine, over 99 percent of the mining town's children have blood levels that skyrocket, way too high than they should be.

7)  Bandung, Indonesia
This city hosts the most polluted river on the planet, the Citarum River. But with nearly 5 million residents living near the river, Citarum is a main water source to the people, giving them terrible diseases from lack of clean water.

6)  Greater Phoenix, USA
From a national point of view, the Phoenix area is one of 2010's worst places in the United States, for it has year round particle pollution, a mix of dust, soot and aerosols. Being very harmful if too much is inhaled.

5)  Dzerzhinsk, Russia
Between 1930 and 1998, Dzerzhinsk was the dumping site for 300,000 tons of chemical waste being improperly disposed. 300,000 people are affected by the city's chemical and toxic pollution, such as sarin and VX gas. The pollution is a result of manufacturing of chemical weapons from the era of the Cold War. According to Mother Nature Network, in 2003, the city’s death rate surpassed its birth rate by 260 percent just because of the pollution.

4)  Greater London, United Kingdom
London has experienced some of the worst air pollution worldwide as a result of car, factory, agriculture and house pollution. The life expectancy of British people has been reduced by nine years due just to air pollution. Britain is considered to be Europe's greatest releaser of nitrogen oxides, exposing 1.5 million people to unsafe amounts of the horrible pollution. According to a report from Parliament, 50,000 people die prematurely each year due to man-made air pollution.

3)  Niger Delta, Nigeria
With more than 6,800 oil spills, which totals to 300 spills a year, close to one spill a day, and 9 to 13 million barrels of oil spilled over 50 years, the Niger Delta remains one of the most oil-polluted locations on the planet. The nine to thirteen million barrels of oil have been spilled into the third largest marsh on the planet. Due to continuously damaged pipelines and the presence of oil corrupt, the Delta's mangroves, rivers, and wildlife are  constantly damaged. Nigeria is the fifth largest supplier of oil to the United States and we get 8 percent of our oil from them. Shell Gas Station has stated that 90% of spills are caused by assertive thieves who access the pipelines to steal oil.

2) Los Angeles, USA
According to the American Lung Association, Los Angeles is the city with the most ozone pollution in the United States. Last year, the average ozone level in Los Angeles was the worst of any American city making the air pretty unhealthy. While LA may be a very urban and notorious city, this has become even a state-wide issue. The local Air Resources Board estimates that air pollution causes 9,200 premature deaths per year in California.

1) Linfen, China
Linfen, China is the most polluted city on earth. According to The Daily Green, if one puts laundry out to dry, it will turn black before finishing drying. Located in China's coal belt, spending one day in Linfen is equivalent to smoking three packs of cigarettes! Three million people are affected by Linfen's coal and particulates pollution, which is residue from automobile and industrial transmissions.

Now you understand that not everywhere is safe. NOw this doesn't mean you shouldn't be living where you are, it just means that there are many cities in the world with lots of pollution and that we need to stop it as soon as we can.
